Outlook 2016 For Mac Automatically Accepting Meetings

Nov 20, 2015 Hi I would like to know if there is a way to turn off automatic acceptance of meetings in Outlook 2010? I already looked at File - Options - Calendar - Resources Scheduling - Automatic Accept meeting. This option was unticked, but meetings are still automatically accepted. How can I stop. Hi I would like to know if there is a way to turn off.

I am trying to get an Office 365 tenant (Cloud only, no on-prem/hybrid) to not auto-accept meetings into the person's calendar. This isn't replying to the sender, its just putting the meeting in a calendar as a 'tentative meeting request'.
The problem with this is that booking tools will get clogged up with these tentative requests from other sources and if you receive a meeting request that is set to span a whole day it knocks out the entire day from booking availability.I have tried the following tutorials and settings and they have not produced any results. Appointment requests still show as tentative in the outlook calendar.- Disable tracking/processing of meeting requests in outlook - Disabled the Microsoft Add-in 'Suggested Meetings' I did try using PowerShell commands but according to this (and I confirmed it by testing this myself) this is no longer possible on user mailboxesThere must be a way to turn this 'feature' off effectively, it seems to be happening on the Office 365 side so any further tweaks to Outlook I don't think are going to work. I tried looking for the similar tracking settings inside Office 365 OWA and could not find them. Thanks in Advance! Which version of Exchange? I use 2003 and a bit back I used ExMerge to do this. Obviously going the ExMerge route means IT would have to do it and not an employee. If you want to go this route here's the link:alot of verbiage there but its not that hard, you basically use a blank calendar, create your events, export that to pst and then use exmerge to mrege the pst calendar events in to all the other mailboxes.
There is a way to instruct Outlook to automatically accept meeting requests:. Go to Tools - Options and click on Calendar options. Go to Advanced options and click Resource scheduling. Select 'Automatically accept meeting requests and process cancellations.' You may also select 'Automatically decline conflicting meeting requests' and 'Automatically decline recurring meeting requests.'
