I want to easily see what codes I've assigned to that line. I've tried various settings of View - Coding Stripes, but none make it easy to see what codes I've assigned.

DSynkant is a softsynth that emulates the synthesizer Roland D-50. It is released under the GPL licence. For the moment it is implemented as a DSSI plugin but should be. How to install toshiba printer driver.

That was made by William K, the developer of Wusikstation. Wusikstation is a wavetable/wavesequencing VST with tons of D50 presets, as well as samples of many other digitals and hybrids (it has the complete dwgs waves, for instance). It is VERY reasonably priced and well worth the investment -- and is probably the closest thing there is to a D50 emulation in the vst realm.
